Welcome to my patchwork journal. I enjoy expressing myself through fiber. Tiny pieces of vintage quilt blocks and fabric combined with hand stitches create my art. When not quilting I'm living a patchwork life. Always changing and helping to keep me young and on my toes. Join me in my experiences and thoughts.

Woodland No. 2--Reality
Woodland No. 2 -- Reality is complete. It measures 6 1/4 x 11 inches (from the top of the branch to the tip of the bead fringe). The story behind this little piece is sad, but the mini quilt was fun to make. I have more pieces of the "Old" Star Quilt you will see it used again. Great way to reuse and update.
All is quiet in and around the Cherry tree. To read about the background of this little art quilt and the Cherry tree click here. The drama in the woods has calmed as the sun shines brightly. Time to go out and give the Deer some corn. You can also find this little art quilt and others linked to the Weekly Art Project. Have a great Wednesday and Happy Quilting!
