Welcome to my patchwork journal. I enjoy expressing myself through fiber. Tiny pieces of vintage quilt blocks and fabric combined with hand stitches create my art. When not quilting I'm living a patchwork life. Always changing and helping to keep me young and on my toes. Join me in my experiences and thoughts.

Woodland No. 5---Sun, Moon and Stars
Woodland No. 5 is a table topper. This is another quilt I started many months ago. I worked along with Jude Hill and her Sun, Moon and Stars stitching adventure. The little quilt measures 12 x 14 1/2 inches. A vintage 9-patch is the base of this mini quilt with vintage silk and cotton fabrics. Embroidery and hand stitches were used throughout. The woodland sky at night is so bright. The stars, and moon take on a special glow away from city lights. Find Week 37 Art Quilt Projects here.
Have a wonderful week and Happy Quilting!
