Slow Stitching

In my little sewing corner, I have enjoyed many aspects of Slow Stitching for years.  My miniature quilts have always had both machine and hand stitches.  As my fabric supply has increased over the years, I realize I have more than I can ever stitch. So I'm offering Slow Stitch Bundles to others who want to use the relaxing method of stitching to get in touch with "self".  This technique has a long history and today in our fast pace, screen obsessed world the relaxation slow stitching offers is unsurpassed as we take a step back to just "Be".

Slow Stitching has no rules, only your imagination. It can be raw edge snippets of fabric assembled to create a background for embroidery.  It can be a tiny pendant of bits and pieces.  My collection of Slow Stitch Bundles will include an assortment of vintage fabrics, laces, beads, buttons & ephemera.  All bundles will be one of a kind and will include a batting and backing for those who want to turn their project into a quilted snack mat or wall hanged.  A paper item will also be included for those wanting to use the bundle for journaling or card making.  The possibilities are endless.  Slow Stitching offers a chance to be creative, slow down and enjoy a balance in the busy world.  Bundles can be purchased here.  I've listed two so far, with more to follow.  Happy Quilting!
