Later in the evening we noticed the Mom was eating alone and another large female approached the feeding station for a bite. That didn't go well---Mom chased her away---Reserved Table. Have a wonderful weekend and Happy Quilting!!
Welcome to my patchwork journal. I enjoy expressing myself through fiber. Tiny pieces of vintage quilt blocks and fabric combined with hand stitches create my art. When not quilting I'm living a patchwork life. Always changing and helping to keep me young and on my toes. Join me in my experiences and thoughts.

Lunch with Mom
We are so fascinated with our home's woodsy setting that we are always taking peeks out our sun room windows to the feeding station at the edge of the woods. Yesterday was no exception. The feeding station was supplied with cracked corn and sun flower seeds. That menu must have been the blue plate special for deer. The large female that we usually see every day decided to bring the family. She brought her two fawns. They still have their spots and were so adorable. I couldn't resist taking a few pictures.
