National Quilting Day !

 

One of my favorite quilts.  Made for a charity auction and depicts how we all share the same sky, in our diverse world.

Happy National Quilting Day!  It is going to be rainy here in the Mid-West, so quilting is the perfect indoor activity.  I'm starting an applique project today.  I've drawn my own design and picked out fabrics.  I'm ready to transfer the design to cloth.  It will be a table runner in a home that is designed in a French country decor.  I'm going for lots of whites, neutrals with a touch of blue.  The runner will be a Christmas gift.  I'll post more about it later as I progress.
