An Evening Reception

If I only lived a little closer to Southern Oregon University, I would be there with bells on.  Being invited to an Evening Reception of an art show has always been a dream of mine---especially when your art is on display.  I received the invitation yesterday.

The creativity of the invitation makes the urge to attend even more desirable.  The reception will be held at the Thorndike Gallery, Southern Oregon University.  I love the stamp.  It is one of the quilts that will be on display at the show.  The show is in honor of Women's History Month.

The Notable Women Quilt Initiative will run from March 2 -20.  If you're in the area stop by and enjoy the quilts.

My quilt Still Saving Lives is honoring Clara Barton, the founder of the American Red Cross.  Look for it among the quilts displayed.  Happy Quilting!
