Treasure in the Prescott

Just returned from a great little get away in Arizona.  Most of our time was spent in Sun City West, except for a two day trip to Sedona and Prescott.  Sedona and the Red Rocks are beautiful.  With the addition of great shopping.  But, my quilting heart is in Prescott.  Seams Sew Right Quilt Studio has been opened for about a year.  I was there last year and bought some great baltics, but this year I wanted to purchase some wild and crazy new prints.  This little shop is simple not overwhelming with to many things to look at, but the variety of great fabrics is breathtaking.  The shop is arranged by color and type, with fat-quarters of every option. With a small selection of notions and threads that is just right.  The owner has taken the time to stock the brands she considers worth the space in her shop/studio.  In the back room is a small but again just the right size teaching alcove.  There are samplings of wonderful and unusual quilts on the walls.  The staff is great to work with when selecting fabrics.   Can you tell I love this place?  My selections this year will help me spice up my own fabric collection and miniature quilts.

The colors are so bright and fun I can hardly wait to start planning.

The dots were my first choice and what I based the other selections. I enjoy using dots in my quilts and I think this year will be my year of the dot.

I'm off to, the getting the back from vacation chores done so I can start quilting. If you're ever in Prescott, Arizona stop in at  Seams Sew Right Quilt Studio you will not be disappointed. Happy Quilting
