Pear Blossom Fairy

I completed this little AAQI quilt last night.  I received this great piece of Blossom Fairy Novelty print from my Liberated Worldwide Swap partner.  The fabric contains about eight different Blossom Fairies.  So cute and perfect for a AAQI mini quilt.  This little fairy is setting in a Pear tree, hence, Pear Blossom Fairy.  I placed it on a silk upholstery fabric and backed with a white on white print.  Hand quilted with copper metallic thread and beads are place on the bottom edge and as accents in the Pear blossoms.  This little quilt was really fun to do.  The fairy and the Pear tree seemed to pop with each stitch.  The quilt is 8 x 10 inches.
