It's Almost Over or Just Beginning

As the realtor says, we are about to go "live".  Today the carpet cleaning people arrived to do the runner on the steps, great room and one bedroom.  All our other rooms have hardwood or the carpet the is in good shape and just needed vacuuming.  I washed the tile in the bathrooms, and utility room.  Did another cleaning of the kitchen and polished the appliances.  Hubby is going to work on the garage tonight.  The yard is ready for sod and some seed and straw.  So we should be "live" by the end of the week.  The cleaning, packing, and the fix up is almost over and then we wait.  Hopefully, not for long.  One of the homes in our neighborhood sold in 3 days.  That would be a dream come true.  Looking forward to just concentrating on our new little home.  As comfy as it is there are a few things I would like to do and of course there are boxes to unpack.  Have a great week--storms are heading our direction these next two days.  So if you are in the path of any of this Midwest weather stay safe and Happy Quilting!
