Our downsizing project is getting close to completion. The move has begun. We have a small cookie cutter house on a quiet street not to far from were we presently live. Our present home is acting as a warehouse, as we pick and choose what goes to the new location. It is about 600 square feet smaller and not everything will fit. The new "little" house is so comfortable. I don't think we realized how much we would enjoy a simple home until we started seeing this one take shape. The move should be complete this week.
Touch up painting, cleaning and sorting the left over items will take place all the month of March at our present home. An auction company will pick up all our unwanted items for sale, donations will be made with all the rest by the end of March. Then the house will be staged and placed on the market For Sale the first of April.
As all home owners, we hope for a quick sale. I really wish someone would want to buy it "as is" so we would not have to do the painting etc. in March, but that is just a dream. Wishing everyone an enjoyable week ahead and as always
