Everything is For Sale Update #2

I've been at it for 5 hours--I'm taking a break until tomorrow.  The Sale now has 108 items available.  Christmas fabric panels, large assortment of rulers, quilting templates, tools and buttons have been added today.  Tomorrow I will add non-Holiday fabric.  Since, this Sale is for one month only, I will not be able to sell by the yard.  You'll notice large yardage amount available.  Check out our sale at Walnut Forest Collectibles   You can read more about the month long sale here.  Happy Quilting!

Everything is For Sale UPDATE

The first day of listing is complete.  You will find Patterns, a Quilt, and Christmas Fabrics.  Remaining items to be listed include:  Daisy Kingdom Christmas Fabric Panels, Non Holiday Fabrics, Novelty Prints, Rulers, Marking Pencils, Templates, Stencils, quilt top and miscellaneous quilting supplies.  I plan to get an early start tomorrow.

Everything is For Sale

Those of you who have read my blog before, know that I am active member of my church's quilt group, Lydia Circle.  We quilt for others and then use our earnings to contribute to local charities that are working hard to help members of our community.
Through the years we have received many donations of fabric and quilting supplies.  Last year one of our members, Randy, passed away and left us all of her quilting supplies and fabric. Randy always said she could open a Quilt Shop, and she was correct about that.  On Tuesday, we had a clean up the quilting room day.  Some of our items will be going to another church in the area who makes quilts for the homeless and foster care children.  The remainder we are putting up for sale.
The money we raise from this sale will be contributed to local charities in St. Charles County, Missouri.
My husband and I have an eBay Store, Walnut Forest Collectibles.  Most of the items are sports related, but I have added a page Quilting Supplies-Lydia Circle  You can access the page by clicking the link.  I will be placing the items we have for sale on that page.  All listings will be complete by Tuesday April 3.  There are over 100 items for sale, so please check the site often, as I will be adding daily.    The online sale will run through April.   I'm linking to Off the Wall Friday  .

Kicking Up Leaves

I have been enjoying the Monthly Art Project group on Facebook hosted by Brenda Gael Smith..  When you join the group you state your personal objectives for the year of monthly art projects.  We then up load our projects on the 15th of each month.  My objectives was to Stay Focused.  It seems when I'm quilting I have hundreds of ideas that I never seem to get to and some I don't complete.  So completing a project each month is perfect for me.  Kicking Up Leaves was created using a vintage nine-patch block, vintage lace and muslin, beads, metallic thread and appliqued leaves and horse silhouette.   There is no machine stitching, just hand stitches.  This little mini 10 1/2" x 11" is officially Off the Wall and a new project is underway.  I'm linking to Off The Wall Friday check out all the other projects completed this week.  Have a wonderful weekend and as always
