Sunday---Precious Promises

Remember that the person who plants few seeds will have a small crop; the one who plants many seeds will have a large crop.  each one should give then as he has decided, not with regret or out of a sense of duty; for God loves the one who give gladly.  And God is able to give you more than you need so that you will always have all you need for yourselves and more than enough for every good cause.  As the scripture says, "He gives generously to the needy; his kindness last forever."
II Corinthians 9: 6-9, Good News Bible

Sunday---Precious Promises

A child is born to us!
A son is given to us!
And he will be our ruler.
He will be called, "Wonderful Counselor,"
"Mighty God," "Eternal Father," "Prince of Peace."
Isaiah 9:6, Good News Bible

Sunday---Precious Promises

Jesus was born in the town of Bethlehem in Judea, during the time when Herod was king.  Soon afterward, some men who studied the stars came from the East to Jerusalem and asked, "Where is the baby born to be the king of the Jews?  We saw his star when it came up in the east and we have come to worship him."
Matthew 2:1-2, Good News Bible

Just Thinking Thursday.

We are on a little vacation/visit with friends. Travel always gives me a different perspective. That is what so wonderful about travel. It seems like hubby & I do more talking.  Just a time to regroup and refocus. Windshield time is a great time to communicate.  I always tote along handwork that needs to be completed. So far this trip I have completed two Christmas gifts.

Our trip is centered around baseball, so in keeping with the spirit--- pictured is a quilt I made years ago. Love the game.  Have a great weekend and Happy Quilting!
