Thinking Christmas

The first assignment for the Aiming for Accuracy Quilt-Along was to think about and select fabrics for our project.  I'm thinking Christmas.

I have a large box of Christmas fabrics in my sewing room  and I thought that I could put together a variety of fabrics to make up my selection.  We were also to decide on a contrasting fabric such as a black or white.  I've decided on white.  Starting date has been moved to June 27, so there is plenty of time for you to consider joining in on the fun.  Check my link for more details.  Happy Quilting!

Accuracy---For the Summer & Beyond

I'm joining the Aiming for Accuracy Quilt-Along.  The quilt-along will be lead by Michele Foster and the quilt will be one of her designs.  Accuracy is something I struggle with---even on my little quilts.  I get rushed and say "O' Well".  Then I regret not taking the time to correct my mistake, of course that is after it is quilted and I can't go back.  I'm hoping a summer of instruction and concentration on that skill will help me to slow down and make accuracy my priority on all my projects.
